Before the first pitch is thrown and before the infield dirt is ever raked, there are people making it all happen. The Bohol Coconuts Baseball and Softball Club is built on real ambition, real sacrifice, and real personalities. These are the individuals whose decisions, dedication, and daily work are shaping something entirely new in the Philippines. Get to know them now, before the show begins.
Merv Moore
Merv Moore brings a broadcaster’s eye and a builder’s mindset to the Coconuts organization. As Sports and Media Director, he oversees how the club’s story is told from the ground up, managing content, communications, and the broader public identity of the franchise. He is also the author of the Moore or Less column, where he writes candidly about the experience of creating something from nothing in a sport-hungry province.
Lerma Moore
Lerma Moore is the operational backbone of the Bohol Coconuts. As General Manager, she holds the organization’s day-to-day decisions together with steady hands and sharp judgment. From budgets to personnel to logistics, Lerma navigates the complex realities of building a sports club in a province where baseball has never been done at this level. She is the reason things get done.
Hali Moore
Hali Moore is the creative engine behind the Coconuts’ docuseries production. As Producer, the fourth-year college student shapes how the club’s story is captured and shared with the world. With an instinct for compelling storytelling and a talent for keeping production moving under pressure, Hali transforms raw moments into content that connects. She is building an audience before the first season begins.
SJ Moore
SJ Moore is a collegiate basketball standout who already has a massive social media following. As the youngest face connected to the Coconuts organization, SJ offers a perspective no one else in this story can: what it feels like to watch your family pour everything into a dream on a tropical island. His presence alone will contribute 25K to 50K viewers per episode.
Diosdado Banua
Diosdado Banua keeps the administrative side of the Coconuts running with reliability and local expertise. As Office Manager, he bridges the organization’s vision with the practical requirements of operating in Bohol, managing paperwork, communication, and the dozens of small tasks that collectively make a sports club function. Diosdado is the quiet force that keeps things orderly.
Rogelio Olayon
Rogelio Olayon is the man turning blueprints into a real baseball facility. As Construction Foreman, he leads the crew responsible for building the physical home of the Bohol Coconuts from the ground up. Every measurement matters, every beam placed with purpose. Rogelio understands that what he is constructing is not just infrastructure: it is the foundation of something historic for Bohol.
This is not a corporate franchise. It is a family, a crew, and a community taking a leap together. Every person on this list believed before there was anything to believe in.
